Custom PEEK Parts

Custom PEEK parts's raw material is PEEK plastic. PEEK, short for polyetheretherketone, is a high-performance engineering plastic—pretty advanced stuff. Its molecular structure is really something special: it's got benzene rings, ether bonds, and carbonyl groups all linked together, which makes PEEK super stable. That means it can handle high temperatures, radiation, and chemicals without a problem, plus it’s got great mechanical strength.

Product Description

The good thing about PEEK is that it’s easy to work with. When we turn it into Custom PEEK parts products, we usually go with methods like injection molding, CNC machining, or compression molding.

Injection molding is one of the most common ways to process PEEK. As long as you get the temperature, pressure, and injection speed just right, you can produce plastic parts with complex shapes and tight tolerances.

CNC machining is usually the go-to for smaller batches or custom orders. It’s fast, and it’s easy to keep costs under control for each piece. This method works especially well for parts that need high precision or have complicated designs.

Compression molding is often used for larger PEEK part with simpler shapes—things like seals or flanges. With the right mold design and pressure settings, we can produce these efficiently and consistently, with reliable quality every time.

Here at GuangZhou Ideal company, we specialize in custom PEEK product. Our technical team is full of experienced folks—many have been in this industry for over ten, even twenty years. Whether it’s helping a client design a product or developing PEEK part, they know the drill: from 2D drawings and 3D modeling all the way to processing and final inspection. We’re also fully equipped with high-end machinery, so we handle injection molding, CNC machining, and compression molding all in-house. Plus, our customer service team really knows their stuff—they’re technically savvy and here to support you at every step, from the first conversation about your needs, through production, and even after the sale.

Product properties:

1.If we look at the most basic mechanical specs, Custom PEEK parts material has a tensile strength that usually sits somewhere between 90 and 100 megapascals—way stronger than your typical engineering plastics. And if you mix in some glass or carbon fiber for reinforcement, that number can jump up to 150–250 megapascals, putting it almost in the same league as certain aluminum alloys. Now, when it comes to PEEK, its bending strength generally falls in the 130–150 MPa range, with a bending modulus around 3.5 to 4.3 GPa. But if you reinforce it, that stiffness can shoot up to 10 GPa—meaning this stuff is seriously rigid and doesn’t like to bend.

2.What gives PEEK its heat resistance is the aromatic ring structure inside its makeup. These benzene rings make the molecular backbone really stiff and doesn’t like to move around. That’s why it can handle high temps—like long-term use at 260°C or short bursts up to 300°C—without losing its shape or performance. Those aromatic rings also lock the molecular chains together tightly. PEEK’s thermal decomposition temperature hits 560°C, so it can even hang in there at 400°C for an hour without breaking down. Its glass transition temp is 143°C, and it doesn’t melt until 343°C, which is a lot higher than most common engineering plastics.

3.On the electrical insulation side, PEEK part is really impressive too: its volume resistivity ranges from 10¹⁶ to 10¹⁸ Ω·cm, its dielectric constant (at 1 MHz) is around 3.2 to 3.3, and its dielectric loss tangent stays below 0.002. So even in high-frequency circuits or under high voltage—think electronics or high-voltage insulator parts—it keeps its insulation game strong.

4.And as far as dimensional stability goes, this material holds its shape really well. It hardly expands or contracts with temperature swings—whether we’re talking about changes in the environment or heat from friction during operation. Parts made of PEEK stay pretty much the same size and don’t warp easily.

Where can you actually use this stuff:

1.Aerospace: PEEK product is seriously light, with a density of just 1.3 to 1.5 grams per cubic centimeter. But don’t let that fool you — it’s plenty strong. When you use it to build spacecraft, it helps bring down the total weight. That means you save on fuel, and there’s room for more gear or cargo on board.

2.Mechanical Parts: This stuff is tough, wears well, and even has a self-lubricating effect. That makes it a great fit for key mechanical parts like gears, transmission components, bearings, and bushings. It just holds up over time.

3.Medical Machinery: In the medical world, PEEK plastic is a go-to for things like bone implants and reusable surgical tools. It gets along well with the human body and can handle high-temperature sterilization — safe, practical, and built to last.

4.Military: PEEK material doesn’t bat an eye at radiation, and it’s a great electrical insulator. That’s why it’s perfect for critical military uses — think satellite parts, radar antenna covers, and missile launch frames for jamming systems.

5.Auto Manufacturing: Custom PEEK parts also gets a lot of use in cars — like turbocharger blades, fuel pump gears, and all kinds of sealing rings. It can take the heat (up to 260°C) and doesn’t mind fuel corrosion. Performance you can count on.

6.Conveyor Systems: PEEK plastic brings the strength, resists wear, and stands up to chemical exposure. That’s why you’ll often see it in conveyor systems — making gears, chains, pipe seals, and even full fluid handling setups. Tough and steady.

FAQ

What does your company do?

We’re Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. Our company was set up in Hong Kong back in 2011, and our factory is based in Huangpu, Guangzhou. We mainly focus on developing and making semi-finished profiles using special engineering plastics—like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, PEI, and others. Besides that, we also handle CNC machining and injection molding to help turn materials into finished parts for our customers.

What kind of equipment do you have?

Our factory is equipped with large-scale production lines for plastic profiles, along with different types of CNC machines, CNC machining centers, and even four-axis and five-axis machining centers. We also have engraving machines and laser cutting equipment. Plus, our injection molding workshop is a 100,000-class cleanroom—really clean and dust-free.

Can we customize products?

Absolutely! We accept 2D and 3D drawings in common formats like STEP, STP, STL, and IGS. If you’ve got a sample, just send it over—we can work from that too. And if needed, we can also help with design or make adjustments based on your requirements.

Can you provide samples?

Sure! For semi-finished profiles, if we have them in stock, we can send samples free of charge. You’ll just need to cover the shipping cost. We promise the samples will be exactly the same in performance and specs as the bulk orders later on.

How do you handle shipping?

We usually ship by air or sea using express carriers like DHL or FedEx—it’s fast and reliable. Of course, if you prefer to use your own freight forwarder or logistics provider, that’s fine too. Shipping costs will be on your side, and the final amount depends on the product’s size, weight, and shipping distance.

What’s your return or exchange policy?

If you receive semi-finished or custom products and there’s a quality issue, wrong size, or problems during installation, just let us know as soon as possible. If we confirm it’s our fault, we’ll arrange a return or exchange and cover the shipping costs. However, if you ordered the wrong thing or want to return for other reasons (especially for profiles), we can help as long as the items can be resold—but you’ll need to pay for return shipping.
