PEEK Polyetheretherketone Parts

So, PEEK Polyetheretherketone Parts is made from this stuff called PEEK. PEEK is a type of special engineering plastic—it’s part of the polyaryletherketone family. Basically, it’s made by combining several monomers that have aromatic, ether, and ketone groups. This material is pretty awesome—it’s strong, stiff, resistant to wear and peeling, and it’s also easy to work with. Plus, it’s got great chemical stability and is biocompatible.

Product Description

No matter how you shape PEEK polyetheretherketone parts, it keeps most of PEEK’s awesome properties. But as tough as PEEK is, it’s not perfect:

1.It’s pretty expensive. The process to make PEEK is complicated, the raw materials aren’t common, and the production has to be tightly controlled—so the cost stays high.

2.It’s tricky to process. Because PEEK has a high melting point and gets pretty sticky when melted, you need high heat and pressure to shape it. That means you need good equipment. And when you’re making complex or thin parts, it’s easy to end up with incomplete filling or shrinkage—so designing the mold and tweaking the process takes skill.

3.It doesn’t love the sun. Leave it outside for too long, and it’ll start to age—turning yellow and losing strength. That’s why you often need to add UV protection or a coating.

4.It doesn’t conduct heat well. PEEK polyetheretherketone products isn’t great at dissipating heat, which can be a problem in things like chip cooling systems or heat sinks. You usually have to add extra cooling features, which adds cost and complexity.

5.It can’t handle strong oxidizers. Stuff like concentrated nitric acid, sulfuric acid, or hydrogen peroxide will eat right through it. So in really harsh chemical environments with strong oxidants, it’s a no-go.

We’ve been in the PEEK business for over 14 years, so we know this material inside and out. We can make polyetheretherketone PEEK part that fits what you need—without breaking the bank.

Product properties:

1.This stuff can really take the heat: PEEK isn't afraid of getting hot—its glass transition temperature is 143 ℃, and it melts at 334 ℃. Even at a scorching 316 ℃, it still holds its shape well under load. You can use it for long periods between 250 ℃ and 260 ℃ without any issues, and it can even handle 300 ℃ for a short while. Even under high heat and pressure, its performance doesn’t drop much.

2.Tough and hard to wear out: PEEK polyetheretherketone parts isn’t just strong—it’s also really flexible. Take the pure PEEK type, for example: when you stretch it, it can elongate by up to 5%, meaning it won’t snap easily. What’s more, it holds up really well under repeated stress and stays reliable over time.

3.Radiation? No problem: PEEK has outstanding radiation resistance. Even after being zapped with 10⁶ Gy of gamma radiation, it still keeps more than 80% of its mechanical properties. That makes it a great fit for components used in the nuclear industry where radiation exposure is a concern.

4.Stays in shape: PEEK polyetheretherketone products hardly deforms, even after long exposure to high temperatures and pressure. For instance, under 120 ℃ and 10 MPa of stress, it only creeps about 0.5% every 1,000 hours. That makes it perfect for parts where precise dimensions really matter.

5.Easy to work with: This material flows nicely when heated and doesn’t break down easily. You can process it in all sorts of ways—like injection molding, extrusion, compression molding, blow molding, 3D printing, rotational molding, and powder coating. Even complex-shaped parts are no problem.

6.Safe for medical use: Pure PEEK has passed strict medical certifications like FDA and ISO 10993, so it’s completely safe for the human body—no cell toxicity or allergy risks. It can be implanted directly and is already used in things like spinal fusion devices and dental implants.

Where can you actually use this stuff:

1.Ship Seals:

PEEK polyetheretherketone parts is a great material for sealing thrust bearings in ship propellers. It handles seawater really well—doesn’t corrode—and its friction coefficient is super low, just 0.15. That means you don’t need as much lubricant, and the seal itself lasts longer.

2.Power Industry:

PEEK can take the heat—up to 260 ℃—and it’s a solid insulator, with a dielectric strength of 20 kV/mm. When you put it around high-voltage coils, it keeps moisture and chemicals out, giving really reliable protection.

3.Mechanical Equipment:

This stuff is naturally slippery, handles high temps like a champ, and doesn’t warp easily. That makes it perfect for parts that get worn down a lot, components that need to stand up to heat, and precision pieces in machinery.

4.Aerospace:

PEEK polyetheretherketone products is seriously lightweight—only about 1.3 to 1.5 grams per cubic centimeter—but don’t let that fool you, it’s plenty strong. Using it on spacecraft cuts down weight big time, which saves fuel and frees up space for more gear or cargo.

5.Military Industry:

PEEK stands up to radiation and is a top-notch insulator. That’s why it’s often used in military gear—like satellite structures, radar antenna covers, and even launch frames for jamming missiles.

6.Conveying Systems:

polyetheretherketone PEEK part is tough, resistant to wear, and doesn’t mind harsh chemicals. That makes it a go-to for conveyor systems—think gears, chains, pipe seals, and fluid transfer parts. It’s built to last.

FAQ

About Our Company:

We're Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. Our company was first set up in Hong Kong back in 2011, and our main factory is in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. What we focus on is R&D and production of special engineering plastic profiles — materials like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, and PEI. Besides producing semi-finished profiles, we also handle CNC machining and injection molding for custom parts.

Our Equipment:

Our workshop is fully equipped. We’ve got large production lines for plastic profiles, different types of CNC machines and machining centers, 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers, engraving machines, laser cutting equipment, and a 100,000-class cleanroom injection molding workshop.

Payment Terms:

We usually ask for a partial deposit upfront before we start production. Once all the products are finished, the remaining balance is due. As soon as we receive the full payment, we’ll arrange shipment right away. You can pay through our HSBC bank account in Hong Kong, or through a freight forwarder if that works better.

Confidentiality:

Yes, absolutely. If you’ve got product drawings or images that need to stay confidential, we’re happy to sign an NDA (confidentiality agreement). We won’t upload any of your files online or share them with anyone else. If we break that agreement, we take full legal responsibility.

What Makes Us Stand Out:

We’ve been specializing in special engineering plastic profiles and parts for more than 14 years, and we’ve even secured several patents along the way. Our team has deep experience, and we use high-end equipment to keep improving our production process — that helps us work more efficiently and control costs better. Over the years, we’ve served thousands of customers, both in China and internationally, delivering reliable products at competitive prices.
