Let me tell you about our Polyetheretherketone PEEK rod at GuangZhou Ideal. We start with top-grade PEEK resin—sourced from both local and international suppliers—and extrude it into the final product. So what is PEEK exactly? It’s a semi-crystalline thermoplastic, meaning its molecular chains are built with aromatic rings and ether bonds lined up one after another. That special structure gives it a great balance of flexibility and stiffness, plus standout performance. That’s why it really shines among engineering plastics.
We’ve been in this game for over fourteen years, so we know the ins and outs of producing polyetheretherketone PEEK rod. Whether it’s the basic unfilled type or reinforced versions, we deliver top quality. Over the years, we’ve served thousands of customers around the world. Our product quality has always stood up to real use, and our reputation comes from genuine, honest feedback.
Unfilled PEEK
This type gives you the best toughness and impact resistance of all PEEK materials. That said, it’s not as strong in stiffness and wear resistance. It’s a good choice for complex mechanical parts that need high cleanliness and tight tolerances—things like gears, rings, and medical components.
Carbon Fiber Filled PEEK
By mixing in carbon fiber, we seriously boost PEEK’s strength and modulus. You’re looking at tensile strength reaching 200–300 MPa, and elastic modulus hitting 10–20 GPa. Carbon fiber also helps reduce thermal expansion and improves heat conduction.
Fiberglass Filled PEEK
Fiberglass-reinforced PEEK also brings much better strength and stiffness. Tensile strength sits between 150–200 MPa, with an elastic modulus of 4–10 GPa. It holds up well under fatigue and resists corrosion, making it a solid choice for auto parts and mechanical components.
Wear Resistant PEEK
This version is a bearing-grade plastic, made with PTFE, graphite, and carbon fiber. The PTFE gives it a low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, and the ability to handle high peak pressures. It’s especially good for applications where low friction is a must.
At GuangZhou Ideal, we run multiple PEEK profile extrusion lines, so we can handle both standard and custom sizes of PEEK polyetheretherketone rods.. What’s more, the physical properties of the raw materials stay well preserved throughout production. As the original manufacturer, we keep a close eye on every step—from raw material sourcing to final molding—so you can buy and use our products with confidence.

High strength and stiffness:
Polyetheretherketone PEEK rod are seriously strong. Pure PEEK has a tensile strength around 90 to 100 megapascals, and its bending strength can go up to 140 to 165 megapascals. And if you add extra fiber reinforcement, it gets even tougher. Its fatigue resistance is right up there with metal alloys—even under repeated stress, it hardly ever gives out.
Corrosion resistance:
PEEK isn’t bothered by common solvents like ethanol, acetone, toluene, or xylene. It even stays stable with engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and fuel at temperatures as high as 150°C. That makes it super useful in automotive and aircraft fuel systems. Its corrosion resistance is almost on par with nickel steel—except when it comes to concentrated sulfuric acid. Even sitting in 200°C steam, it only wears down about 0.03 millimeters per year.
Self-lubrication:
PEEK rods can lubricate themselves, and they’ve got really low friction. They run smoothly even without much oil. That’s why they’re a smart choice for parts like bearings and gears—they’re less likely to jam, wear down slowly, save energy, run more accurately, and keep noise and vibration low.
Thermal stability:
PEEK is great at handling high temperatures. Even when things heat up, its mechanical properties don’t change much. Think about electrical gear—it often gets hot while running, but PEEK won’t soften or warp because of the heat. That makes appliances more reliable and safer to use.
Fatigue resistance:
PEEK rods are excellent at resisting fatigue—actually better than a lot of metals. Tests show they can handle more than 10 million load cycles without cracking or failing. Compared to regular plastics, their fatigue life is way longer. They stand up to high-frequency vibration and repeated force, which is why they're often used in parts like compressor rotors, gears, bearing housings, and valve bodies—places where fatigue damage is a big concern.

What certifications do your products have?
We’re proud to be certified with ISO9001:2008 for our quality management system. On top of that, our products carry SGS, CE, and RoHS marks. They also meet environmental standards such as REACH and EN71, among others.
Can I return or exchange the goods?
If you come across any quality issues, sizing problems, or anything else that affects how you can use the product—whether it’s semi-finished or customized—just let us know as soon as possible. If it’s really our fault, we’ll handle the return or exchange and cover the shipping costs both ways.
If you ordered the wrong thing or want to return for personal reasons (especially with profile blanks), we can usually arrange that too, as long as the product is still in resalable condition. In that case, you’ll need to cover the shipping.
Can you provide samples?
Sure thing! For semi-finished profiles that we have in stock, we can send samples over free of charge—you’ll just need to pay for the shipping. And don’t worry, the samples will be exactly the same in performance and specs as what you’ll get in your actual order.
How to pay?
Before starting production, you need to pay a partial deposit first. Wait until all the goods are completed before settling the final payment. We will arrange shipment as soon as we receive the final payment. You can make payment to our Hong Kong HSBC bank account, or through your designated freight forwarder.
What’s the minimum order quantity?
For semi-finished profiles, we can start with a small order. If you’re looking for custom parts, let’s talk details—like how they’ll be made and the size—so we can figure out what works.
