For the past fourteen years, GuangZhou Ideal has been processing Processing PEEK parts — so yeah, we’ve got experience. Now, about PEEK material — that’s just the fancy name for polyetheretherketone. It’s a special kind of high-performance plastic that handles heat really well, stands up to chemicals, doesn’t conduct electricity, and is super strong. That’s why top industries like aerospace and semiconductor manufacturing are all over it.
But when you’re Processing PEEK parts, different molding methods come with different headaches. If you don’t handle things right, it’s easy to end up with faulty parts.
Common Issues with Compression Molding
Pores or Bubbles: This usually happens when there’s not enough pressure — so you’ll want to adjust that. Or sometimes, air gets trapped in the powder or melt and doesn’t escape completely. Bottom line: you’ve got to get that air out.
Unmelted Powder Inside: If you spot this, the temperature might be set too low, or the material didn’t have enough time to melt fully. Check if your actual temp matches the setting, and see whether the heating stages are giving it enough time to melt properly.
Layering (Delamination): This tends to show up in thin sections. When the melt flows too fast, hot and cool layers can shear apart and not bond well — leading to inconsistent texture. Fix? Try adjusting the gate position or tweaking the wall thickness.
Shrinkage or Voids: You’ll often see these in thicker areas — basically, the material isn’t filling completely. You can bump up the holding pressure and give it more time. Also, when designing, let the melt flow from thin to thick sections, not the other way around.
How to Processing PEEK product More Accurately
Pick the Right Tool: We recommend polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tools. They last long, cut clean, and don’t rough up the workpiece — which means better accuracy and longer tool life.
Tool Shape Matters Too: Don’t go for a cutting edge that’s too steep — a smaller angle gives a cleaner, more solid cut. Also, keep the relief angle on the smaller side — it reduces vibration and helps keep everything stable and precise.
We’re GuangZhou Ideal — a Chinese manufacturer that’s been specializing in CNC PEEK part for over fourteen years. We’ve used all kinds of equipment and know every process inside out. Whatever problem you run into, chances are we’ve seen it before — and we can help you fix it.

1.Seriously Heat-Resistant
Processing PEEK product can really take the heat! Its glass transition temperature is 143 °C, and it doesn’t melt until it hits a crazy 334 °C. Even under load at 316 °C, it won’t warp or lose its shape. You can use it long-term between 250–260 °C, no problem—and for short bursts, it can handle up to 300 °C. High temps and high pressure? Still performs like a champ. Nothing gives.
2.Tough as Nails
What makes PEEK so strong? It’s all in the molecular setup—the ether and ketone groups are the real heroes here. Ketone groups keep everything tight and organized, giving the material great tensile strength and stiffness. Ether bonds, on the other hand, add a little flexibility—so it’s stiff when it needs to be, but also tough and not brittle. Oh, and it’s pretty easy to work with, too.
3.Handles Chemicals Like a Boss
PEEK has a super stable chemical structure, so it stays cool with most acids, bases, and organic solvents. Its only real weaknesses are concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid—those can make it dissolve or turn yellow. Other chemicals? Basically can’t touch it. One thing to watch out for: if it’s not crystallized right during production, solvents like acetone might cause some cracking.
4.Radiation? No Sweat
CNC PEEK part is seriously good against radiation—even better than polystyrene, which is usually the go-to material for radiation resistance. We’re talking up to 1100 Mrad of gamma rays, and it still keeps its insulating properties intact. Doesn’t break down or lose its cool.
5.Won’t Quit on You
PEEK is naturally resistant to fatigue, all thanks to its special molecular structure and crystal makeup. Even after repeated stress and long-term use, it’s not likely to crack or snap. This stuff is built to last.

Here at GuangZhou Ideal, we're really serious about the quality of Processing PEEK parts — honestly, it’s something we focus on from the very foundation.
We start by carefully listening to what our customers need, piece by piece. Then, from selecting the right raw materials to R&D, technology, and even every experienced worker on the production line — we pay close attention to every step. We keep improving things along the way, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Our goal is simple: we want you to feel confident and comfortable when working with us, and have a great experience from start to finish. That’s what we’re here for.
1.What does your company do?
We’re Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. Our company was set up in Hong Kong back in 2011, and our factory is based in Huangpu, Guangzhou. We mainly focus on developing and making semi-finished profiles using special engineering plastics—like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, PEI, and others. Besides that, we also handle CNC machining and injection molding to help turn materials into finished parts for our customers.
2.How to pay?
Before starting production, you need to pay a partial deposit first. Wait until all the goods are completed before settling the final payment. We will arrange shipment as soon as we receive the final payment. You can make payment to our Hong Kong HSBC bank account, or through your designated freight forwarder.
3.What certifications do your products have?
Our company is certified with ISO9001:2008 for quality management. Our products also have SGS, CE, and RoHS certifications, and meet environmental standards like REACH, EN71, and others.
4.What’s your return or exchange policy?
If there’s a quality issue, a mistake on our end, or anything that keeps you from using the product, contact us right away. Once we confirm the situation, we’ll handle the return or exchange and cover the shipping. If you just ordered the wrong thing or changed your mind (especially with raw profiles), as long as it’s still in sellable condition, we can still help—but you’d need to cover the return shipping.
5.Can we customize products based on our needs?
Of course! We accept common 2D/3D file formats like STEP, STP, STL, IGS, and PRT. If you have a physical sample, just send it over—we can analyze it and work from there. We can also design or tweak the product based on your ideas.
6.What logistics options do you offer?
We usually work with mainstream carriers like DHL and FedEx, by air or sea—it's fast and convenient. If you have your own freight forwarder or logistics partner, that’s fine too—we’re happy to coordinate. Shipping costs are handled by the customer and will be calculated based on the product’s size, weight, and destination.
