Compared to glass fiber reinforced and carbon fiber reinforced modified PEEK materials, pure PEEK substrates possess superior impact toughness, and offer the best resistance to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, enabling long-term service in highly corrosive industrial pipeline conditions and ensuring a longer service life.
Addressing the production challenges of this order's products exceeding 460mm in outer diameter—a size beyond the maximum molding specification of conventional extrusion lines—our company specifically adopted a die compression molding process. This process utilizes a customized mold to inject molten PEEK raw material into the mold cavity, undergoing multiple refined processes such as pressure holding, shaping, and constant temperature cooling to ultimately form a complete pipe.
Relying on mature and stable die compression production technology and high-quality virgin PEEK raw materials, the large-diameter PEEK tubing produced by our die compression process has the same comprehensive performance and physical properties as products produced using conventional extrusion processes. The finished product has no internal pores or stress concentration defects, and its overall structure is dense and uniform.
