Torlon injection parts is a PAI product manufactured through injection molding. PAI, which stands for Polyamide-imide, is a non-crystalline material that can handle really high temperatures. Its molecular structure has both amide and imide groups lined up in a regular, alternating pattern. It's mainly produced by reacting trimellitic anhydride with different kinds of aromatic diamines. Essentially, PAI material brings together the toughness you'd expect from polyamide and the serious heat resistance of polyimide, making it one of the top-performing engineering plastics out there.
Now, because PAI plastic is so unique, using injection molding for Torlon injection parts comes with a lot of challenges. There are two big reasons for this. First, the cost of equipment and energy is really high. To injection mold PAI, you need the barrel heated to at least 400°C and the mold between 170°C and 230°C. That's much hotter than most common engineering plastics require. So you have to use special high-temperature injection molding machines, which means equipment costs and your electricity bill shoot up. Second, the melt just doesn't flow that easily. Even at those high temperatures, it stays kind of sticky (since it doesn't crystallize and lacks a sharp melting point). You need very high injection pressure—usually over 150 MPa. This often leads to problems like weld lines or short shots, so for parts with complex shapes, your yield rate tends to be low.
Here’s a rough breakdown of the injection molding settings for Torlon injection moulding part: You’ll need a modern reciprocating screw-type injection molding machine with closed-loop control. For the screw design, aim for a compression ratio between 1:1 and 1.3:1, avoid a reverse device, and make sure it can handle up to 400°C. This lower compression ratio helps keep the material from breaking down. If the material isn’t pre-dried, you should dry it at 120°C for at least 6 hours to get rid of any absorbed moisture. Melt temperature should be kept in the 220–280°C range, depending on the specific grade of material and your product design. Your mold temperature needs to stay between 204°C and 218°C. Keeping the mold hot helps with crystallinity and makes the parts more dimensionally stable. Injection pressure has to be high—somewhere from 750 to 1250 bar—to make sure the mold cavity fills completely. Injection speed is usually fast, but if you’re using reinforced material, slow it down a bit. After molding, a secondary cure at around 250°C is standard; it boosts the product’s strength and heat resistance.
GuangZhou Ideal company put money into buying high-end equipment and fine-tuning their injection molding process. As a result, they managed to fix surface defects in the molded parts, get better dimensional accuracy, and lower the internal stress in Torlon injection Product components. our customers have been really happy with the outcome.

1."Super high temperature resistance: The molecular structure of PAI is very stable, like layers of sturdy grids, so it can withstand heat particularly well. Its softening temperature can reach up to 250 to 356 degrees Celsius (different models vary), which is much higher than ordinary engineering plastics, and it is not easily deformed at high temperatures.
2.Specially wear-resistant and comes with lubrication effect: the friction coefficient of Torlon injection parts is only 0.2 to 0.5 during dry friction, but if PTFE is added, it can be reduced to 0.12, making it slide smoothly. The wear rate of the basic model is 1.2 × 10 ⁻⁶ mm ³/Nm, and the enhanced model can even reach 0.8 × 10 ⁻⁶ mm ³/Nm, which is very durable.
3.Good insulation performance: PAI is an expert in electrical insulation, with high resistance and low dielectric constant, which can effectively isolate current and reduce losses. In the field of electronic appliances, it is commonly used as circuit boards, insulation gaskets, etc. to ensure stable operation of equipment and prevent short circuits.
4.Strong corrosion resistance: Torlon injection moulding part is not easily corroded by most organic solvents and common industrial chemicals, such as hydrocarbons, esters, alcohols, etc. If PTFE or graphite is added, the wear resistance and chemical resistance will be even stronger.
5.Not easy to burn in itself: The molecular skeleton of PAI has inherent flame retardant properties because its aromatic ring and imide structure are very stable and not easily ignited.
6.High strength: PAI plastic is one of the strongest unreinforced plastics, and Torlon injection Product has particularly excellent tensile strength. Even at high temperatures, it can maintain high strength and is not easily broken."

Our Torlon injection parts product is really well-made, and it comes from manufacturer GuangZhou Ideal. Their factory has all the right equipment, years of experience behind them, and they take quality seriously. That means you get a solid product without paying a premium. If you’re looking for something like this, just reach out—we’re here to help. We’ve built a good name over the last ten years, and we’ll make sure you’re happy with what you get.
1.What does your company do?
We’re Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. Our company was originally founded in Hong Kong in 2011, and our factory is located in Huangpu, Guangzhou. We mainly specialize in developing and manufacturing semi-finished profiles from special engineering plastics—things like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, PEI, and similar materials. On top of that, we also offer CNC machining and injection molding services to help customers turn those materials into finished parts.
2.What’s the minimum order quantity?
For semi-finished profiles, we can do small orders to get you started. If you need custom-made parts, just give us the details—like how they’ll be produced and their dimensions—and we’ll work out a solution that fits.
3.How long until delivery?
If it’s an item we keep in stock, we can ship it as soon as your payment comes through. For custom orders, the timeline really depends on the quantity and production process involved—so let us know exactly what you need, and we’ll give you a clear timeframe.
4.What’s your return or exchange policy?
If there’s a quality problem, something we messed up, or any issue that prevents you from using the product, just reach out to us as soon as possible. Once we verify what happened, we’ll arrange a return or exchange and cover the shipping costs. If you simply ordered the wrong item or changed your mind (especially for raw profiles), as long as the product is still in sellable condition, we’re happy to help—though in that case you’d need to cover the return shipping.
