Go up to 35% to 40%, and the strength and stiffness hit their maximum, but toughness and flowability take a hit. The most common blend is 30%.

1. More stiffness and better heat resistance thanks to carbon fiber

Carbon fiber Filled PEEK pipe contains 10–30% carbon fiber (CF). This makes it a PEEK-CF composite. It keeps the natural heat resistance of PEEK, but the mechanical properties get a serious boost. The stiffness lands between 8 and 12 GPa, and the heat distortion temperature (HDT) goes above 315°C. So if you're making structural parts that have to handle heavy loads, this stuff works great.

2. Better conductivity – good for static-sensitive environments

Carbon fiber is conductive, so PEEK reinforced with carbon fiber conducts electricity much better than standard PEEK. Its volume resistivity can drop to 1×10³ Ω·cm. That makes it a solid choice for places where static electricity is a concern.
