Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) added to carbon fiber is quite different from those without filling or filled with glass fiber. The PEEK CF30 plates made by our company has several skills:

1. Impact resistance:This thing itself is a semi crystalline plastic, so it has both rigidity and toughness, unlike ceramics, which will break when touched. The impact resistance of PEEK without reinforcement material is excellent, which can reach 70-100 J/m. Even if you throw it into the freezer at minus 60 degrees, its performance will hardly drop, and it will still be impact resistant.

2. Anti fatigue and long service life:When it comes to carrying fatigue, PEEK CF30 sheet is really good. Its performance is almost catching up with some metals. We have tested it and let it endure repeated force for tens of millions of times. It also basically keeps the structure intact. Compared with ordinary plastic, it can withstand this kind of toss and turn, so it is particularly suitable for use in places where there is constant vibration and stress, such as the rotor, gear, bearing seat and valve body of the compressor.

3. Heat resistance:Peek has excellent heat resistance, and can work in high temperature environment of 250 to 260 ℃ for a long time. We did the overheat weight experiment, heated to 400 ℃, and the weight was not less; At 500 ℃, only 2.5% was lost; Even at 600 ℃, 59% of the weight is lost. Moreover, no matter whether our peek without reinforcement or peek with glass fiber or carbon fiber is baked at high temperature for 1000 hours, the tensile strength will not be reduced at all.

4. Creep resistance, no deformation:In short, creep means that the material is pressed all the time and slowly deforms after a long time. In the family of thermoplastic plastics, peek has the best ability to resist such deformation. It is resistant to fatigue and creep, mainly due to its semi crystalline structure, which makes it more durable and longer life than other plastics and even some metals.

5.5. Dimensional stability: our pure PEEK material has a thermal expansion range of about 4.4 to 5.5 × 10 ⁻ 0/k per degree (in the range of 23 to 150 ℃). If 30% glass fiber is added, the expansion coefficient can be reduced to between 1.5 and 2.5 × 10 ⁻ ⁵ K, which is almost the same as that of metal; The PEEK CF30 plates model can be pressed below 1.0.0 × 10 ⁻⁵/k, which is especially suitable for making high-precision parts. Even in the temperature difference between -196 ℃ and 150 ℃, its thermal expansion fluctuation is less than 5%, and its size is very stable.
