PEEK Plates

PEEK plates is a top-tier PEEK profile. PEEK, short for polyetheretherketone, is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with some really impressive features. It’s produced through a condensation reaction between 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone and hydroquinone, using alkali metal carbonate as a catalyst and diphenyl sulfone as the solvent. As a standout member of the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family, PEEK ranks among the highest-performing polymer materials out there—often called the “king of resins.” Not only is it strong, chemically stable, and lightweight, but it’s also highly biocompatible, making it a great high-performance plastic alternative to metal.

Product Description

That said, PEEK plates does have its limits. It’s not the best choice for applications where extreme wear resistance, impact strength, or corrosion resistance are needed. For instance, pure PEEK resin can be somewhat brittle, has low shear strength, a relatively limited operating temperature range, and comes with a higher price tag. That’s why researchers around the world are working on modifying PEEK—to make it more affordable, compatible, and insulating, while also boosting its impact and compression resistance. The most common way to modify PEEK today is through fiber reinforcement. Studies show that adding glass fiber (GF) or carbon fiber (CF) to PEEK raises its heat deflection temperature, reduces shrinkage, and opens up promising applications in advanced fields like aerospace.

Here at GuangZhou Ideal, we’re a leading manufacturer and supplier of PEEK sheet in China. Since 2011, we’ve invested heavily in R&D, built up plenty of know-how, and delivered solid results. Our product range covers pure PEEK, glass-fiber reinforced grades, carbon-fiber reinforced grades, HPV bearing grades, anti-static grades, and more. We stick to high standards when it comes to quality, pricing, fast delivery, and after-sales support—all to make sure our customers have a smooth, reliable experience and keep receiving products they can count on.

Product properties:

1.When it comes to resisting chemical corrosion, PEEK plates really stands out. It holds up well against all sorts of harsh chemicals, and even when things heat up, its performance doesn’t drop off at all.

2.On the fire and water front, PEEK is naturally solid stuff. Even a thin 1.5mm sheet can hit UL94-V0 without needing extra flame retardants. It’s made from pure ingredients, so if it does burn, there’s very little smoke or toxic fumes—much safer. And water doesn’t faze it, not even high-pressure steam.

3.Electrically, PEEK sheet stays reliable across a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. It’s also high-purity, eco-friendly, and easy to work with.

4.Mechanically, PEEK is tough. At 200°C, it keeps a bending strength near 24MPa—stronger than PTFE at room temperature. Even at 250°C, bending and compression strength stay around 12–13MPa. That’s some serious heat resistance. Plus, it’s stiff, dimensionally stable, and expands/contracts about as much as aluminum.

5.For fatigue resistance, PEEK plastic plate handles repeated stress really well—top among plastics and close to some alloys. Its friction performance is also great: it resists sliding and micro-motion wear, and even at 250°C, the wear stays low.

6.Biocompatibility is another plus. PEEK is showing up more in medical uses not just because it handles heat, but because it gets along with the body—no irritation or rejection, making it a good fit for medical devices.

Where can you actually use this stuff?

1.In the aerospace industry, materials need to be super strong. PEEK plates is used for things like aircraft frames and engine parts because it’s strong but lightweight. That helps planes weigh less, burn less fuel, and cut down on operating costs.

2.For electronic appliances, PEEK works great for casings and insulating parts. It can handle heat and doesn’t corrode easily, so devices last longer, are safer, and more reliable.

3.In energy applications, PEEK sheet is used for solar panel packaging and wind turbine blades. Even in tough outdoor conditions, it holds up well over time, boosting the efficiency and dependability of energy systems.

4.Over in the auto industry, PEEK goes into parts like engine components, transmission parts, and brake system pieces. It stands up to high heat, pressure, and wear, making cars more reliable and better performing. For instance, a turbocharger impeller made from PEEK keeps working smoothly even at high temps and speeds, giving the engine a nice power boost.

5.For industrial machinery, PEEK plastic plate is a go-to for high-precision parts. In CNC machines, using it for lead screws, nuts, guides, and sliders improves accuracy and stability. And in robots, PEEK connectors and transmission parts make movement smoother and more reliable, while also cutting down weight and saving energy.

6.In IT and semiconductor manufacturing, there’s a big push for more function at lower cost. Silicon wafers are getting larger, and tech is advancing fast. Equipment materials now need to be low-dust, low outgassing, low in ion release, and low water absorption—which is exactly where PEEK resin shines.

FAQ:

1.What does your company do?

We’re Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. Our company started in Hong Kong in 2011, and our main factory is in Huangpu, Guangzhou. We specialize in developing and manufacturing semi-finished profiles made from high-performance engineering plastics—things like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, PEI, and similar materials. On top of that, we also offer CNC machining and injection molding services to help turn those materials into finished parts ready for use.

2.Is your product performance guaranteed?

Yes. All our raw materials come from well-known suppliers, both local and international. Every batch includes a material report, so you know exactly what you’re getting. Our products meet leading industry standards, and we can provide detailed property sheets if needed.

3.Is your product quality guaranteed?

Definitely. We have a full quality control system in place, backed by modern testing equipment and a dedicated lab. Our team oversees every step—from raw materials to finished goods—to make sure the products you receive are consistently high quality.

4.Can I return or exchange the goods?

For both semi-finished and custom-made products, if you notice any quality issues, sizing problems, or anything that affects usability, just get in touch with us right away. If it’s our fault, we’ll handle returns or exchanges and cover the shipping both ways.

If you simply ordered the wrong thing or want to return for personal reasons (especially with profile blanks), we can usually help as long as the product is still in resalable condition—though in that case, you’d be responsible for the shipping costs.

5.Can you provide samples?

Absolutely. For semi-finished profiles that we keep in stock, we can send samples at no charge—you just pay for shipping. And don’t worry, the samples will be exactly the same in performance and specifications as what you’d receive in a full order.

6.What’s the minimum order quantity?

For semi-finished profiles, you can order even just one piece. For custom machined or molded parts, it really depends on how they’re made and the size—let us know what you need, and we’ll work out the details together.
