PEEK Parts

PEEK parts is a product made from PEEK plastic. Now, PEEK—polyetheretherketone if you want the full name—is a pretty special engineering plastic. It’s got great strength, can handle high temperatures, doesn’t corrode easily, and it’s even safe to use around people. That’s why you see it being used in so many applications these days.

Product Description

When it comes to making PEEK parts, there are a few common ways to do it: injection molding, machining, and compression molding. If you’ve got small parts that need to be made in large quantities with tight tolerances, injection molding is your best bet—it’s efficient and cost-effective. For smaller batches or custom one-off pieces, machining works better. It’s quick, doesn’t cost much, and you can get really precise results, even with complicated shapes. And if the part is on the larger side with a compact structure, we usually recommend compression molding. That way, the product ends up denser and the mechanical properties are more reliable.

Here at Guangzhou Ideal Company, we specialize in custom PEEK machined part parts. Since PEEK is a pretty sensitive material and needs a controlled environment, we pay close attention to temperature and humidity in our workshop. That helps keep product quality consistent. To make that happen, we’ve set up a dust-free injection molding room and a clean CNC machining area. Once the parts are made, they go through post-processing—like deburring and cleaning—and then we check everything with high-precision equipment. We measure dimensions and inspect tolerances to make sure every single piece matches the design specs.

Our team knows what they’re doing—they’ve been in the business for a while. We put care into every PEEK product product we make. You get a good price, solid quality, and thanks to our modern equipment and smooth production process, you can count on us to deliver on time.

Product properties:

PEEK parts is seriously tough when it comes to heat, it’s strong, has great electrical performance, and doesn’t get eaten up by chemicals — honestly, it’s one of the top materials you can find out there.

High strength

PEEK is seriously strong and stiff — almost like metal — and beats most other plastics. It can handle heavy loads without a problem. For example, it’s used to make bone nails and plates to help fix broken bones. You'll also find it in planes and cars, making parts that need to take a lot of force.

Stable chemical properties

PEEK holds up really well, even in harsh chemical environments. That’s because its structure has ether bonds, which are way more “chill” than typical ester bonds and don’t break down easily in water. Basically, PEEK doesn’t react with most chemicals. Even strong acids or alkalis won’t mess with it (except for concentrated sulfuric acid).

High temperature resistance

PEEK machined part can handle temps up to 343°C, and for long-term use, 260°C is no big deal. That means it keeps its shape and properties even when things heat up — it won’t just melt or fall apart. Think about car engine parts: if they’re made from PEEK, they can keep working reliably even when the engine’s super hot, which helps everything last longer.

Wear resistant & low friction

Its friction coefficient is around 0.3 — pretty close to Teflon — and it’s hard on its own. If you add fibers to reinforce it, the hardness can go up to Rockwell R110. It wears down way slower than most engineering plastics, so you can even use it to make self-lubricating bearings and replace metal ones.

Good electrical insulation

No matter how the temperature or humidity changes, PEEK product keeps its electrical insulation on point. It’s got high volume and surface resistance, and stays stable across different frequencies and conditions — so you don’t have to worry about current leaking where it shouldn’t.

Dimensional stability

PEEK doesn’t expand or shrink much with temperature changes — its thermal expansion coefficient is pretty low, around 5.5-6.5 × 10⁻⁵/°C. That helps keep things precise and stable. Even in hot or damp conditions, it barely absorbs water and hardly changes shape.

Where can you actually use this stuff:

With modern industries growing like crazy, PEEK product are getting really popular—thanks to their awesome performance and affordable price.

1.Automotive Manufacturing

Because PEEK resists wear and tear really well and has great mechanical properties, you’ll find it in all sorts of car parts—like engine covers, bearings, gaskets, seals, and clutch gear rings. Basically, it’s stepping in to replace metal in a lot of auto components.

2.Mechanical Applications

Here, PEEK shows up in things like bearing cages, liners for metal bearings, clutch parts, power brake components, loader blades for pulleys, copier parts, and even stuff like packing columns for wave chromatographs and super thin connection tubes.

3.Electronics & Appliances

PEEK parts is super handy in electronics too. It’s used for stuff like built-in plugs, super reliable connectors, cable plugs, junction boxes, wiring lead-outs, battery housings, and all kinds of tubing and valves in ultrapure water systems—especially in the semiconductor industry and other super-clean fields.

4.Energy Industry

PEEK really shines in energy thanks to its ability to handle high temperatures, resist water breakdown, and stand up to radiation. That’s why it’s used in cables, wires, coil frames, connectors, and valves in nuclear plants and oil drilling operations. It’s even used to make special probes and oil extraction connectors.

5.Semiconductor Industry

In the semiconductor world, PEEK is used to make high-performance plastic parts like CMP retaining rings, wafer carriers, and wafer clips. It stands up to temperatures as high as 260°C and doesn’t bat an eye when exposed to harsh chemicals. That helps cut down on wafer cooling time, boost production efficiency, and improve wafer yields.

FAQ

1. Is your product performance guaranteed?

Yes. We get our raw materials from trusted brands, both here in China and from overseas. Every single batch comes with its own material report. Our products are among the best in the business. We can also provide the product spec sheets for you.

2. What are your main equipment?

We have large profile production lines. We also use a lot of CNC machines and machining centers, including 4-axis and 5-axis models. Plus, we have engravers, laser cutters, and a clean room for injection molding.

3. What are your payment methods?

We need a deposit before we begin production. Once all the items are finished, you pay the remaining balance. We ship out the order as soon as we receive the full payment. Payment can be made to our HSBC bank account in Hong Kong, or you can arrange it through your freight forwarder.

4. What are the advantages of your company?

We've been making special plastic profiles and parts for over 14 years. We also hold a number of patents. Our team uses advanced equipment and our know-how to make things run smoother and quicker. This lets us keep costs down, so we can give our many international customers high-quality products at very competitive prices.

5.Can you customize products? How does that work?

Absolutely! We accept common 2D and 3D file formats like STEP, STL, and IGES. If you’ve got a sample, just send it over and we’ll take measurements. If you have special design needs, we’re flexible—we can tweak an existing design or create something totally new based on your ideas.

6.What’s the smallest order you can take?

For semi-finished profiles, we can do even a single piece. For custom parts, it really depends on the processing method and product size—let’s talk details so we can figure it out together.
