Here’s basically how it’s made: first, we process the raw material, then feed it into an injection molding machine where it gets heated up until it melts into something like syrup. After that, we inject that melted plastic into a mold, let it cool down and harden, then pop it out. A bit of follow-up work, and the part is done.Now, PEEK isn’t your regular plastic—it’s a special high-performance engineering plastic. If you look at its structure under a microscope, it’s pretty unique. Its molecules are full of aromatic rings and ether bonds. And it’s really that special structure that gives PEEK its natural toughness—it can handle high temperatures and resists corrosion like a champ, so it’s super stable and reliable.
PEEK injection molded part is perfect for mass-producing parts, especially ones with tricky shapes, tight size requirements, or really thin walls. With injection molding, every piece comes out consistent and accurate—almost no variation. That means we can produce quickly, with very few defects, and it saves on material costs too.
Since PEEK is such a strong material, the molds have to be tough as well. We usually make them from H13 hot work mold steel or martensitic stainless steel. We also harden the mold surface through a process called nitriding. That helps the mold stand up to the high heat and pressure when the PEEK is injected, and keeps it from wearing out or getting damaged too easily.
Sometimes though, during injection, the finished part can crack. Take PEEK plastic injection parts—if you see cracks near the feed inlet, it’s usually because the raw material had some moisture in it, or gas was produced during plasticization. If that gas can’t escape, it stretches the material and causes cracks.

As for the mold itself, like I mentioned, we use good quality steel and apply nitriding. We also prefer making the feed inlet fan-shaped or hidden—it just works better. To make sure the part releases smoothly from the mold, we usually set the draft angle between 2 and 3 degrees. And finally, depending on the size and thickness of your PEEK injection moulding part we carefully design the cooling channels inside the mold. That helps prevent the part from warping or deforming once it’s taken out.

For example, unfilled PEEK can stretch up to 5% before breaking — that's what I call real toughness. Plus, it's super durable. Even when you bend or stress it again and again, it hardly gets tired and just keeps performing steadily.
Chemical Resistance
This stuff is like a superhero against chemicals — most acids, bases, and solvents just can't hurt it. That’s why in chemical plants, when they use PEEK rods for pipes or valves that handle corrosive liquids, everything lasts way longer. Less maintenance, lower costs, and everything runs smoother.
Heat Stability
PEEK plastic injection parts really stands up to the heat. In open air, below 420°C, it barely loses any weight or performance. And in a protective gas like nitrogen or argon? It’s even tougher — it can handle temperatures above 500°C before it even starts to break down, and it won’t fully decompose until over 600°C. That’s why it’s a top pick for stuff like high-temperature molds and hot runner systems.
Creep Resistance
Creep is when a material slowly deforms under constant pressure. Well, PEEK is one of the best thermoplastics out there at fighting creep — it won’t sag or give in, even under long-term stress.

So, what does your company do?
We’re Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. We got our start in Hong Kong in 2011, and now our main factory is in Huangpu District, Guangzhou.
