Alright, let me break down polyetheretherketone parts for you.Basically, it keeps all the good stuff from PEEK—and works well in a lot of different situations. So, what’s PEEK? Its full name is polyetheretherketone. It’s a special kind of plastic with a really unique molecular structure—think of ether bonds, aromatic rings, and carbonyl groups linked together in a chain. Because there are lots of rigid aromatic rings in there, it can handle high temperatures like a champ, it’s hard, has great mechanical properties, and doesn’t change much when the temperature goes up or down. And if you reinforce it with glass fiber, it gets even stronger.
Depending on what’s added to it, polyetheretherketone parts comes in a few versions: basic, fiber-reinforced, and wear-resistant.
The basic type is just pure PEEK—nothing else mixed in. That means it’s the purest form, with the best toughness and impact resistance out of all the PEEK grades. It’s also food-safe and medical-grade, so you can use it around food or even inside the human body.
But pure PEEK isn’t perfect—it can be a little brittle, not great with shear forces, has a temperature limit, and yeah, it’s pretty expensive.
Glass fiber reinforced: Glass fiber is strong, cheap, and works really well with PEEK. Add it in, and the material gets a lot stronger and more wear-resistant—especially when it comes to tension and bending.
Carbon fiber reinforced: Carbon fiber is light, super strong, and resists corrosion, oxidation, water, and oil. Mix it into PEEK, and the material can handle higher temperatures and shrinks less. It also adds a bit of electrical and thermal conductivity, which is useful in certain situations.
Wear-resistant type (also called bearing grade): This one’s made by blending PTFE (that’s Teflon), graphite, and carbon fiber into PEEK. Graphite helps the material carry heavier loads, and PTFE acts like a lubricant—making the surface smoother and reducing friction. Together, they make this version really hard to wear down.
When GuangZhou Ideal makes polyetheretherketone product, they use top-quality raw materials from well-known suppliers, both local and international. Their processing methods are solid too, so the final product keeps almost all the great properties of the original stuff.Bottom line—no matter where you use it, It can probably handle it.

1.Handles heat really well: polyetheretherketone parts can take the heat up to 260℃ without breaking a sweat—it stays physically and chemically stable, making PEEK a top choice for high-temperature uses.
2.Strong and stiff: Pure PEEK has a stiffness (elastic modulus) around 3.6–4.0 GPa. Boost it with carbon fiber, and that jumps to 15–20 GPa. With glass fiber, it’s about 4–5 GPa. That means even when things heat up, PEEK keeps its shape and bounce, which adds to its heat tolerance.
3.Tough against chemicals: Thanks to its ether bonds—Ether bond is an extended version of ester bond, and due to its weaker polarity than ester bond,PEEK doesn’t easily break down in harsh chemicals. Basically, it won’t react with almost any chemical, even strong acids or bases, and it doesn’t rust or corrode. Plus, it’s water-repellent, so liquids don’t stand a chance.
4.Won’t wear out easily: polyetheretherketone product stands up to repeated stress and heavy loads over time. It’s also got great wear resistance, so it lasts long under tough conditions.
5.Top-notch fatigue resistance: Out of all thermoplastics, PEEK is the best at handling constant on-and-off stress. It stays reliable and sturdy, and it’s unlikely to fail from fatigue.
6.Radiation? No problem: polyetheretherketone PEEK part is a champ against radiation. It’s the best among engineering plastics when it comes to standing up to X-rays. It only gets brittle after absorbing super high doses—like over (1.0–1.2) × 10^7 Gy of X-rays. Lower energy beta rays up to (0.1–12) × 10^6 Gy don’t faze it at all. It’s also transparent in MRI, CT, and X-ray scans, and it can even take gamma rays.

1.So, what does your company do?
We're Guangzhou Ideal Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. We started in Hong Kong back in 2011, and our factory is based in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Our main focus is producing semi-finished profiles using special engineering plastics like PEEK, PAI, PI, PPS, PPSU, PEI, and others. Besides making profiles, we also handle CNC machining and injection molding to help customers create finished parts.
2.What kind of equipment do you use?
Our factory is fully equipped. We’ve got large profile production lines, various CNC machines, CNC machining centers, 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers, engraving machines, laser cutting equipment, and even a 100,000-class cleanroom for injection molding.
3.Do you take custom orders?
Of course. We accept common 2D and 3D file formats like STEP, STP, STL, IGS, etc. If you have a physical sample, just send it over and we can work from that. We can also help with designing or modifying products based on your needs.
4.What’s the minimum order quantity?
For semi-finished profiles, you can order just one piece. For custom parts, it really depends on the processing method and product size—we can discuss the details based on your requirements.
5.Can you provide samples?
Yes, we offer free samples of semi-finished profiles for performance testing, depending on our stock availability. You’d just need to cover the shipping cost. And don’t worry—the sample performance will be exactly the same as the products we deliver.
